Here's a closer look at this key role:

Product Specialists at Cytracom are technical pre-sales specialists, responsible for partnering with Partner Account Managers (PAM) and Channel Development Representatives (CDR). Product Specialists are salespeople that understand and can apply their technical knowledge to sell Cytracoms products and services. They sell, but they also provide advice and support. Product Specialists enable partners through education and resource development and demonstration. They discover customer needs and present ideal solutions to maximize return on investment. Product Specialists discover opportunities for the company, our partners, and our customers to be successful.

Responsibilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of the entire Cytracom ecosystem, including the partner portal, call center, the Cytracom applications, Cytracom app marketplace, and the overall architecture of Cytracom's solutions.
  • Partner enablement and training, remote and onsite product demonstrations, prospect network readiness, and solution validation via Proof of Concepts (PoC) for sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of all Cytracom applications and products.
  • Align with key partners to better understand opportunities and support requirements.
  • Partner with the Cytracom Product team stakeholders to develop and prioritize the Product roadmap.
  • Manage partner/customer feature requests and documents for the Product team, lab testing, and continued education on the platform and underlying technologies.
  • Maximize and share knowledge of The Channel, IT Service, Communications, Software, and other related industries
  • Transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to customers/partners.
  • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and other teams
  • Represent Cytracom at conferences, industry, and sales events
  • Interact with all levels of management on customer/partner accounts including the executive management team.

Requirements:

  • Soft-skills: Business acumen, presentation skills, building relationships with internal customers, partners, customers, and vendors
  • Developing and demonstrating partner enablement strategies and resources
  • Developing and demonstrating customer resources to maximize partner enablement and sales
  • Proficient in Hubspot and/or other CRMs
  • Proficient in Zendesk and/or other ticketing or PSA tools
  • Proficient in Jira and/or other software development tools
  • Proficient in Asana and/or other project management tools
  • Proficient in Confluence and/or other documentation tools
